Some Sites and Apps I have done for Mobile devices:
King-Devick Test App
King-Devick Test is an objective rapid sideline screening test for concussions that can be administered by coaches, athletic trainers, medical professionals and parents in minutes.
My role was in building an iPad compatible frontend GUI for the actual online webapp using HTML5 and jQuery as well as a smaller iPhone webapp for test administrators. The iPhone webapp has since been superseded by the KD Test Score app below.
KD Test Score App
Continuing on from my initial role building the HTML5 apps, I went on to take this technology and both ported and expanded the iPhone webapp shown above into a more fully featured smartphone app that is now available on both Android and iOS platforms and in a number of official app stores. The actual apps, while still built and run using web technologies such as CSS3, HTML5, and jQuery, are compiled using Phonegap.
Temazcal Tequila Cantina HTML5 iPad app
Temazcal Tequila Cantina is Boston’s newest authentic Mexican restaurant. It is also the first restaurant in the country to use iPad based menus.
As head jquery/HTML5 developer, I was responsible for recreating the native iOS feel within a pure HTML5 webapp while maintaining compatibility and functionality across various platforms and browsers. The menu is usable via the restaurant website as well as on the Apple App store for your iPad at home. The app uses graceful degradation, meaning the more modern your browser is, the better the experience will be.
